    Para relembrar, o Emmy Award, é um prêmio atribuído a programas e profissionais de televisão. É equivalente ao Oscar (para o cinema), o Tony (para o teatro), e ao Grammy (para a música). Ele acontece anualmente, a Academia de Artes e Ciências Televisivas dos EUA elege as séries, minisséries e telefilmes que mais se destacaram dentro de suas categorias.

    Esse ano, a 69ª edição do Emmy será apresentada por Stephen Colbert, do The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (um late-night talk show americano apresentado pelo mesmo na rede CBS). No ano passado, o responsável foi Jimmy Kimmel.

    Vale lembrar que Game of Thrones, ganhadora de 38 prêmios ao todo, não está na lista esse ano, pois a sua sétima e penúltima temporada teve estreia após o período de indicações. As grandes apostas para esse ano são Westworld, Stranger Things, Saturday Night Live e Veep. A exibição ocorrerá no dia 17 de setembro ao vivo pela TNT no Brasil. Ansiosos?
